Fehr signs with Finnish team

Former Brandon Wheat King Eric Fehr has opted to continue his playing career in Finland.

Fehr, from Winkler, recently announced that he will play for HPK of the Finnish Elite League.

Fehr was hindered with a shoulder injury last season while with the NHL's Winnipeg Jets. He ended up with just three points in 35 games.

He was an unrestricted free agent going into the NHL lockout.

Fehr has 48 goals and 96 points in 265 NHL games.
