Neepawa's Logan Young wins bronze medal in provincial cross-country championship

Neepawa's Logan Young was a medal winner at the Provincial High School Cross-Country Championship at Spruce Woods on Wednesday.

Young, from Neepawa Collegiate, earned a bronze medal in the junior varsity boys division event with a time of 18.01. The event Young took part in had approximately 200 participants.

There were five other Neepawa participants at the event: Nicholas Vallieres (JV boys), Danielle Hanke (JV girls), Courtney Gilmore (JV girls), Halle Hayhurst (JV girls) and Daniel Heschuk (varsity boys).

Meanwhile, in the team division, Swan Lake's Westmount Warriors won the varsity girls A/AAA title.
