4-H Communications Evening

The Neepawa Belles, Beaux and Builders 4-H Club held its Communications Evening Feb. 4, 2014 at the Court House.

We have 16 members in our club this year which made for an entertaining evening. In the Cloverbud Speeches, third place went to Kennedy Strelczik for her speech “My Dog”; second was Rylan Sumner and his speech “Max”; and first was Trent Tomoniko for his speech “My Trip to Drumheller”.

We only had one Cloverbud Visual and the honour went to Aiden Toews for his speech titled “Cheetahs”.

In the Junior speeches, fourth place went to Charlie Strelczik and her speech “Disney World”; third to Robyn Newsome and her speech “What Would You Do?”; second to Reilly Falk for his speech “When I Grow Up….” and first to Claire Tomoniko for her speech “Lessons of My 10 Year Old Life”.

For the Junior One Person Visual, Tye Cabak came in first with his speech “My Favorite Video Game”.

In the Junior Two Person Visual the award went to Abigail Plett and Richelle Forgue for their presentation on “How to Make Playdough”.

For the Intermediate Speeches, first place went to Zachary Enns with his speech called “5, 4, 3, 2, 1”.

The Intermediate Two Person Visual had Nathan and Joshua Enns in second place with their speech “Quads” and first place to Delanie Newsome and Mallory Antonik-Taylor for their speech titled “HOPE”.

The club would like to thank our judges Liz Sumner, Kerrilee Lapointe, Chris Kulbacki, Bob Durston, Michelle Kolbe and Cindy Hockin for volunteering their time and words of wisdom.

Congratulations everyone on a job well done and good luck to Abigail, Richelle, Claire, Trent, Robyn, Mallory and Delanie as they go on to Zones on March 2, 2014 at NACI.
