The Lakers then returned home for games on Friday and Saturday but found themselves losing 3-2 to Cartwright and 7-3 to Pilot Mound. Dan Leslie and Dale Evenson scored against Cartwright while Branden Craik, Leslie and Rory Gabor scored against Pilot Mound.
Back in Neepawa, the Farmers lost their lone game last week, a 4-2 defeat in Pilot Mount Friday night. Chris Belisle and Bret Levandoski scored for Neepawa while Brett Dreger, Eric Jury and Devon Speiss registered assists.
