The Natives allowed six or more goals for the fifth consecutive game last Wednesday, resulting in their fifth straight loss.

Neepawa wasn't able to muster many offensive opportunities in the game, getting outshot 42-18, while they went through two goalies - with Matt Kohlman allowing five goals on 25 shots and Matt Young allowing three goals on 17 shots – before the final buzzer rang.
Clayton Heinrichs had a two-point night for Neepawa with a goal and assist. Steven Phillips scored Neepawa's other goal while Brady Bouchard added two assists and Colton Magwood had a single assist.
Neepawa was down 4-1 after one period and 7-1 after two periods.
The Natives had four games remaining before the Christmas break, including a home game Sunday, Dec. 29 against the Swan Valley Stampeders. Other games include a Dec. 31 game in Portage, and two games played last week - Thursday in Dauphin and Saturday in Virden - where scores weren't available by the early Christmas deadline.
