If you are wondering how you can become a Volunteer on the Hospital Gift Cart, you are asked to call Jean Borchardt at 204-476-2734. Over the last few days I’ve had a few ladies call me to say they (who have been doing the cart for some time) must give it up due to Health Reasons. When the cart started 20 years ago, we had five ladies doing the cart from Monday to Friday. At the present time we have, on most days, two ladies per day and some prefer to work by themselves. The ideal way is for two ladies to work per day so that if one can’t make it, the other can. Everyone uses the Hospital at some time or other, so if YOU have some spare time, PLEASE give me a call.
