Venus Hair and Body Care have welcomed in a familiar face to their business.
Jenn Davie, who was raised in Neepawa, has taken over the esthetics at the salon and will be offering her services at least twice weekly.

Davie studied to be a nail technician at the Advanced School of Hairstyling in Brandon as well as esthetics at the Marvel School of Beauty in Saskatoon, and brings with her over two years of experience in the industry.

She will be offering pedicures, manicures, artifical nails, waxing and facials.

“It was a good business opportunity for me,” Davie, who has been working at Brandon's Haven Salon and Spa for the past two years, said. “I am from Neepawa and enjoy being here, so I am happy to be able to come work here.”

It appears Neepawa's happy to have her back as well, as the esthetician has been regularly booked solid. She currently takes bookings on Mondays from 11 a.m. til 8 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. til 6 p.m., and might add another day depending on availability.

“It's been really busy so far so I'm considering adding another day,” Jenn explained. “I've been enjoying it. All the girls here are great.”

Watch for specials in the newspaper over the next few months as Jenn settles in at Venus.
