The 2012-13 Westman High School Hockey League campaign continues to be a thing of perfection for the NACI Tigers. The Tigers finished off their pre-Christmas break schedule with three more convincing wins to move their record to 11-0 to start the season. On Dec. 21 NACI topped Dauphin 6-3, while the team put together identical 6-1 wins over both Hamiota on Dec. 15 and Minnedosa on Dec. 14. The strong start to the season has NACI in first place in the WHHL and 4 points ahead of the second-place Major Pratt Trojans from Russell. NACI’s Brady Plett leads all goaltenders with a 1.60 goals against average (GAA) in 5 games played this year, while Grant Graham sits fourth in the league with a 2.15 GAA in 6 games. Meanwhile, Tigers Kyle McDonald (11 goals, 28 points) and Jesse Adams (11 goals, 24 points) sit second and third in the WHHL’s scoring race. Dauphin’s Kyler Allard currently has 31 points to lead the league in scoring.
