Calves killed in Carberry

On Oct. 6, 2012 at 6 p.m., Blue Hills RCMP were dispatched to a rural farmstead southeast of Carberry. The property owner reported that two of his yearling calves were shot and killed by an unknown perpetrator. The calves were valued at $900 each. The Blue Hills RCMP and Manitoba Chief Veterinarian Office continue to investigate. Police are seeking the public's assistance in solving this crime. This matter is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
