On Oct. 6, 2012 at 6 p.m., Blue Hills RCMP were dispatched to a rural farmstead southeast of Carberry. The property owner reported that two of his yearling calves were shot and killed by an unknown perpetrator. The calves were valued at $900 each. The Blue Hills RCMP and Manitoba Chief Veterinarian Office continue to investigate. Police are seeking the public's assistance in solving this crime.
