Phyl and Ted Mauthe, accompanied by Bruce and Laurel Buschau of Portage, motored to Souris last Thursday to attend the funeral of their aunt, Wilma Donogh (nee Archibald). "Willie" was the second youngest of the children of Harry and Alice Archibald, and the last one living of the family. Isabel Dixon spent Thanksgiving Sunday with her kids in Rivers. Jim and Gail MacGregor went to Portage La Prairie, to cousin Darlene Myles for Thanksgiving supper also on Sunday. Viola Rempel's family gathered at the Senior Centre on Saturday, Oct. 6, to celebrate her 80th birthday...belated birthday, Viola. Rick and Doreen Smith, along with Bruno and Dolores Tonn, just came back from road trip to Branson, Missouri. Nice to see Ann Hyworon is home from the hospital following surgery. Plumas will be holding their annual fall supper at the United Church on Sunday, Oct. 21. Starts at 4:30 p.m. The Plumas branch of TOPS will be holding an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 23, with a Luau theme, come on down and check it out! The Luau starts at 6:45 p.m. Plumas is once again having a Health Fair in conjunction with the Flu Shot Clinic on Oct. 24.
