After starting the season out slowly, the Westman Wolverines have won their second straight to come within one game of a .500 record, with three wins and four losses on the season.

Former NACI Tiger Ethan Jowett helped lead the defense with 6.5 tackles and one sack.
Meanwhile, Neepawa’s Bradley Kyle registered two rushes and two punt returns for a combined 21 yards.
The weekend prior, the Wolverines trounced Interlake Thunder 58-10, and former NACI Tigers athletes continued to be at the centre of the team’s success.
Bradley Kyle ran for two touchdowns after rushing for 203 yards on eight attempts. He also returned one punt for 24 yards.
Kyle’s first touchdown came off a 52 yard run while his second was courtesy a 45 yard sprint.
Defensively, Tony Taylor and Ethan Jowett each registered three tackles.
The Wolverines now sit in fifth place in the eight-team Manitoba Major Football League with one game remaining in its regular season.
