Angele Jeffrey of Glenella passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 with family at her side at the Country Meadows Care Home in Neepawa.

Angele was born in Swan Lake district on April 9, 1930 to Nester & Agnes Callewaert and took her schooling in Bruxelles district until the family moved to their family farm in Holland. It was in Holland where Angele met Murray Jeffrey and they married November 10, 1955. Murray and Angele had 3 daughters and farmed in Glenella until spring of 1994 when they sold their farm. They moved to Glenella to spend their retirement. When Angele moved to town she enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and family and enjoyed having morning coffee with her friends. Angele and Murray joined the Glenella Seniors and spent winter evenings playing cards or shuffleboard. Unfortunately in the last few years Angele’s health declined and she was hospitalized then moved in to Country Meadows Care Home on February 20, 2012.

Angele leaves to mourn her husband of 56 years, Murray; daughters Sharon (Walter) Marohn, Elaine (Dave) Dayholos; grandson Jason Flatt and son in law Brain Flatt.

Angele was predeceased by her precious daughter Lorraine Flatt; her parents Nester & Agnes Callewaert; brother in law & sister in law Ron & Dorothy Jeffrey.

Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Glenella Community Hall with Hilde Vickers officiating. Interment took place at Riverside Cemetery in Neepawa, Manitoba.
