Christopher Ralph Bales

Chris passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at his residence in Gladstone at the age of 59 years.

He was a dedicated father and an auto body technician for over 23 years at Portage Chrysler. He loved doing anything outdoors. He was an avid hunter, and fished whenever possible. Chris loved adding his own personal touch to anything in arms reach. With his unique outlook on life, if you were not smiling at the start of a conversation, you would be by the end!

Chris was predeceased by his father Ralph Bales. He is survived by his wife Kathy Bales; children Shawn, William (Peggy), Krista (Kristjan) and Richard; grandchildren Hannah and Desmond; mother Eileen Bales; brothers Tom (Bernadette), Leonard (Kay), Dennis (Rose) and Bert (Cheryl) and families.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Gladstone United Church with Lynne Sanderson officiating.

Donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House or to Make A Wish Foundation.

Clarke’s Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements.
