Howe’s have a 60th wedding anniversary

John  and Lynn  Felsterman and Melissa Smiley of Chase, B. C.  visited Harvey and Linda Fleger & family from July 2 - July 9th, 2010.
 Elda, Harvey and Tanya Mitchler of Langley, B. C.  visited and  joined in for the 6th birthday celebrations of Carter Walls and Julia Fleger on the wekend of July 10th and 11th.

Dennis and Irene Magwood camped at the  Portage campground on the July 10th and 11th weekend to join in the celebration of the 60th wedding anniversary of Ron and Lyla (Montgomery) Howe.  Les and Marilyn Richardson attended the "Hertlein" family reunion at Langenburg, Saskatchewan July 9th - 12th, 2010. On July 18th, Les Richardson's cousin George and his  wife Lorraine Wayne of Red Water, Alberta  visited with Les and Marilyn  and stayed a couple of days.

Beryl Parrott visited with Olive Templeton of Brandon on July 15th.

Les and Marg McCuaig of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba visited with Ron and Beryl Parrott on July 18th.  While here we  went sight seeing and visited with Les's former classmate, Faye Cibula and husband Larry  of Minnedosa, Manitoba.

Congratulations to the town of Gladstone, Manitoba for  being chosen to have ' Happy Rock'  on a postage stamp. 

Possibly the Franklin Memorial Hall and the  sillouette of the 'TRAIN'  that sits on the corner of highway 16 and 10A at Minnedosa may someday worthy  of  the same honor.
