Bullets win
Neepawa Bullets Hee Joo Seo and Andy Yoon battle for the ball in soccer action. The Bullets dropped the Brandon Outlawz 3-1.

Neepawa Bullets F.C. earned their second win of the season Wednesday evening in Brandon as they survived a rainy outing to beat the Outlawz 3-1.
It was a game where the Bullets dominated the play throughout, but had troubles finding the control needed to finish opportunities as they battled the elements on a soaked Canada Games pitch. The win moves the Bullets’ record to 2-1-0, and marks their second consecutive victory after they finished off Andes F.C. 5-2 in their previous outing.
Sam Uyaivato started the scoring for Neepawa as he took a perfectly threaded through ball from Graeme Wilson to find the bottom left side of the Outlawz net. The Bullets then dominated possession and scoring chances in the half, but failed to connect on their chances in the wet conditions. Marc Pounder also made two outstanding saves to keep the Outlawz scoreless in the half.
Logan Jones opened the second half by putting away a diving header off of a cross-in from Karmvir Bath. Jones then followed that by almost putting the Bullets up by three as he sent a rocket into the back of the net, but the goal was quickly called off on an offside ruling.
The Outlawz then got a break as they put away a misplayed ball to get a goal and pull within one late in the game.
However, the goal only re-energized the Bullets squad, and Bath quickly responded by rifling a breakaway goal behind the Outlawz keeper only three minutes later to finish the scoring at 3-1 in the Bullets favour.
Michael Natale allowed only one goal in the half.
Neepawa’s next game will be in Neepawa on Sunday, June 6 against the Royal Oak Royals.
The Bullets would also like to extend their thanks to Doris Kohinski who, after winning the team’s 50/50 prize of $56, generously gave all of the funds back to the team to help pay for field equipment and team
