Pow Wow

Riding Mountain National Park (RMNP) celebrated National Aboriginal Day last Thursday with a pow wow and First Nations heritage demonstrations along the beach area including bannock making, traditional crafts and cultural teachings. Organizers estimated more than 300 people attended the event, including campers, area residents and a few busloads of schoolchildren.
